New Years Resolution?
Nick Boynton: "I have one. I was thinking about it early,
but I can't remember it right now. I'll get back to you" Nick Boynton AGAIN!: "Oh yeah! I want to grow a beard.
That was it. I'm pretty good at keeping my resolutions, so it's probably going to be a big beard by the end of that. Kind
of like ZZ Top."
Road Trip With the Bruins in the midst of a six-game,
two-week road trip, BostonBruins.com sat down with a few of the players before they left to ask two burning questions for
this week's Inside Scoop. The first was, "What is your favorite and least favorite part of a long road trip in the NHL?" And
the second one given that going to the movies is a big part of passing the time on the road was: "What are your favorite and
least favorite movies?"
Movies? "I saw Big Fish, it's probably my favorite
recent movie. My least favorite movie has to be Gigli. I never saw it, but I heard it was really bad." Road trip? "My favorite part on a road trip is getting to go out
on the town after a win and my least favorite part is having to wear the same clothes all the time."
What CD is currently in your CD player?
"I've got Coldplay in there right now."
Thanksgiving
On what he is thankful for: "I'm thankful for my family and
my health." On his plans for the day: "Just relaxing and doing nothing. Just watching television and doing
absolutely nothing." Will he watch football? "Sure, whatever is on the television, I watch. There's not too
much effort exerted that day."
"To have it happen is almost too much to explain.
It's just unbelievable. I got to go to the YoungStars Game in Los Angeles a few years ago and I remember sitting there afterward
and watching the All-Star Game and it was just unbelievable. Now, I am a part of it and it is really hard to believe." - Nick
Boynton on being named to this years All-Star game.
"You're
not a very good player and you don't last long in this League if you don't learn from your mistakes." - Nick Boynton
